New postdoc in the ANGIOGENESIS & METABOLISM LABORATORY
On January 1, Dr. Anuradha Doddaballapur joined the ANGIOGENESIS & METABOLISM LABORATORY as a new postdoctoral scientist. Anuradha did her Ph.D. at the Institute of Cardiovascular Regeneration in Frankfurt, where she worked under the mentorship of Dr. Reinier Boon and Prof. Dr. Stefanie Dimmeler. During her Ph.D., she studied the regulation of endothelial metabolism by shear stress and the transcription factor KLF2 (see references below). She will now focus on the regulation of ubiquitin signaling in the endothelium as well as its relevance to angiogenic blood vessel growth.
